Last Updated on 22 May 2023 by Heavensa

The relationships that you have with your best friends are unlike any that you will have with anybody again. There is something so special about the depth of that platonic love, and to make the most of it there are all kinds of fun things you can do and make memories together. Here are four experiences to book with your besties.

Stay in the middle of nowhere

It’s nice to have lots of options for things to do out and about, but there is something really magical about stripping that all away and just spending quality time together in the quiet. You can bond in the wilderness doing things like going for walks, putting down social media, cooking together, and even reading in the quiet while enjoying eachothers company. You might never get that chance to bond with your pals again, so this is a great time to make the most of it.

Take a singles holiday

You’ve got your whole lives to be tied down to other people and make sensible decisions, so now is the perfect time to start looking for a cheap singles holiday for you and your closest friends. Choose something with plenty of excursions so that you can absolutely pack your holiday full of memories of you together, and remember to take lots of lots of photos – that way you can allow yourself to get caught up in the local culture and be reminded of it all when you get home and it has all come to an end.

Go for a balloon ride

If you want to feel on top of the world, you’re in luck, because you can take that literally and go up in a balloon with your nearest and dearest. I always think that floating in a balloon would be like being in the glass elevator with Willy Wonka, pointing out all of the places I recognised below us. Keep in mind that a certain level of fitness will be required for this as the basket is big and you will need to be able to climb in before you go up in the air.

Learn to cook something together

Some people find being in the kitchen and cooking something to be a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. Others – like me! – just want to get straight to the end result and sample that delicious meal. Either way, learning a new skill is a great way to build your character, so taking a cookery class with a pal can be a really unique bonding experience with plenty of opportunities for laughs along the way. And the best bit is that you get to take something away with you at the end of the day that will (hopefully!) taste delicious.
