My Biggest Dreams for my Future Home

I always get carried away thinking about my future home. I’m a total dreamer, and could spend hours planning out every detail – but ultimately, it only needs a few things to really feel like my perfect home. Here are my biggest dreams for my future home.

Huge space to entertain

My dream home is going to be absolutely huge, because I am going to prioritise space for me to be able to entertain my loved ones. This means that the dining area needs to be big enough, but also I want a large living space with a huge u-shaped couch that is equally good for resting after a large meal, as it is for playing a heated round of monopoly! My garden is also another area where entertaining is a priority, so outdoor seating is a must. 

Eye-catching wall art

When I am in my dream home, I want somewhere that makes me feel really proud, and part of that will be that the decor is thought out well and feels complete and put together. A great way to make your decor more cohesive throughout the home is to marry it up with eye-catching wall art, which spices up any plainer spaces in your home and compliments the more bold areas. I like to use celebrity pop art because it is instantly recognisable and familiar to all of my guests.

Reading nook

I love entertaining. Bringing together friends and family to create memories together is genuinely one of my favourite things. But I also value time on my own, and when I am recharging my batteries by myself I like to spend that time immersed in a good book. My dream home would have its very own reading nook, hidden away from the rest of the world and absolutely packed full of all of my favourite things to read. It would be my ultimate cosy hideaway, just for me! 

Hot tub in the garden

Ultimately when it comes to my future home, I don’t care where I am living as long as I have a hot tub in my garden! I have always dreamed of having a hot tub – they’re great for dealing with body aches and pains, and you can immerse yourself so much more effectively than you can with a standard bath that you’d get inside the house. There’s also something great about being in steaming hot water when you’re surrounded by snow, so I don’t even mind what climate I am living in, as long as I get the hot tub!
